Dan Goodes – Head Teaching Professional

A member of the PGA of Canada, Dan brings a wealth of experience from over a decade of helping golfers achieve their playing goals. Along with his PGA accreditations, Dan is also a certified coach with the Titleist Performance Institute,TrackMan Golf, Boditrak Golf Ground Mechanics, and Golf Psychology Coaching


Prior to joining The Ridge he was the Associate Professional at The London Hunt & Country Club. In addition to instructing members of all ages and capabilities, Dan was head of their junior golf academy. A self proclaimed “golf nerd”, his instruction style blends the ideas of various renowned instructors, from Harvey Penick to Dave Pelz, with new age technology such as TrackMan and V1. When asked about his overall philosophy on coaching Dan feels “There’s no one way to swing a golf club, but every golfer has within them an optimal swing. It’s my job to help them find that”.



Simon Gough

A certified member of the PGA since 2001, Simon joined the team at The Ridge in 2016.  With over 23 years experience in the golf industry, Simon a certified PGA Professional is an extremely knowledgeable coach and specialises in club fitting.   ‘There are many aspects to getting the most out of your game and I have a keen focus on helping players combine their technique with a positive mental approach and golf fitness’, Simon said.   Whether you are a beginner or a more experienced player wanting assistance with the refinement of your golf swing, Simon knows what it takes to ensure you get the most out of your game and have a load of fun along the way. 

Tammy Wong

A great asset to our team, Tammy is an enthusiastic and driven coach who is passionate about helping golfers looking to improve their game regardless of their skill level. Tammy has many years of experience working in the golf industry and her philosophy is that learning should be a fun and enjoyable experience with persistence being the key to success. Tammy is particularly passionate about helping juniors and women to play better golf. 


Wayne Spruce

Wayne, a certified PGA Member was previously employed as the Head Professional at The Lakes and Moruya Golf clubs. Both roles allowed Wayne to develop a teaching style that supported numerous golfers to ‘find their best swing’. His ability to identify the strengths in the golf swing- focusing on a basic fundamental performed correctly, (instead of the weakness) allows his clients to create a golf swing that works for them. This has proven to be popular with his clients for over 30 years. Wayne is looking forward to helping more golfers reach their true potential at The Ridge.

Glen Dick

Glen has been a PGA Member since 2005 and has played professionally on both the Canadian and Australasian Tours.  The last few years has seen Glen focusing on his teaching and clubfitting as well as junior development and playing pathways.   Glen is also an ambassador for Titleist Golf Equipment and is available for fittings 5 days a week.


Shane Puckett

A certified member of the Australian PGA since 1998, Shane has over 20 years’ experience Coaching Golfers of all levels.  Prior to joining The Ridge, Shane has been the Head Professional at Liverpool and Brighton Lakes Golf Clubs and the Head Teaching Professional at Bonnie Doon Golf Club. He has and is still working with many Elite Players both Amateur and Professional and prides himself on finding every players best game.  Shane utilises Trackman for his Coaching and Club Fitting and specialises on Game Development giving all students an understanding of their best game and how to bring it out consistently.

Warwick Dews

Warwick has been a teaching Professional for over 10 years and has coached players of all levels from beginner to professional.  During his career Warwick was the NSW Under 24 State Team coach in 2009 & 2010 and has coached New Zealand Open Champion Jordan Zunic.  Warwick is a certified PGA Professional with advanced certification in coaching and provides golf tuition to a broad range of golfers of all ages and experience.
