Dan Goodes – Head Teaching Professional

A member of both the PGA of Australia and the PGA of Canada, Dan brings a wealth of experience from over a decade of helping golfers achieve their playing goals. Along with his PGA accreditations, Dan is also one of less than a hundred professionals in the world with a TrackMan Master Designation.

Prior to joining The Ridge he was the Associate Professional at The London Hunt & Country Club. In addition to instructing members of all ages and capabilities, Dan was head of their junior golf academy. A self proclaimed “golf nerd”, his instruction style blends the ideas of various renowned instructors, from Harvey Penick to Dave Pelz, with new age technology such as TrackMan and V1. When asked about his overall philosophy on coaching Dan feels “There’s no one way to swing a golf club, but every golfer has within them an optimal swing. It’s my job to help them find that”.

Wayne Spruce

Wayne, a certified PGA Member was previously employed as the Head Professional at The Lakes and Moruya Golf clubs. Both roles allowed Wayne to develop a teaching style that supported numerous golfers to ‘find their best swing’. His ability to identify the strengths in the golf swing- focusing on a basic fundamental performed correctly, (instead of the weakness) allows his clients to create a golf swing that works for them. This has proven to be popular with his clients for over 30 years. Wayne is looking forward to helping more golfers reach their true potential at The Ridge.
